I would like to know if we can do a petition or something to stop this. It’s taken me 20yrs to pay off plan 1 which was only £4500 to start off with. Unfortunately life happens and clearly the interest kept on being added - because of life, I didn’t get a chance to complete my first degree. I now have a plan 2 and worried I will be retiring and still paying it off

No financial institution work on the basis of you earn more they take more. The government greed is disgusting especially when there’s a young unemployment crisis. But I saw something the other day about how the gov are making more jobs in retail and hospitality like at kfc and cafes. I swear the government want us to be stuck in poverty with no job progression at this point

I was a medical student, now a doctor. My student loans hit 100k in my sixth and final year of uni. I dread to think what it is now. I will never pay it off, no matter how much I start to earn

Please help with the postgraduate loans too! The threshold for that is 6% over £21,000 which is now less than minimum wage!!!

Hello, I am one of the students whose account is blocked, but only for the Maintenance Loan, not for the Tuition Fee. Why didn't SFE block the Tuition Fee, which is also a student loan? Is this discrimination? Why isn't the blocking of money applied to both the Maintenance Loan and the TUITION FEE????? Please, if you can ask someone from SFE, let's clarify this for ourselves. Thank you in advance.

Seeing your comments on it made us check my wife’s fees. She trained as a teacher between 2014-18. £46k debt, now at £77k and rising by £5k a year while they take 9%!!! How is this fair???
