It’s a learning curve for sure, and it doesn’t come without frustration, but my goodness it’s worth it! What a statement it makes! I especially love it for powder rooms, laundry rooms, and kids’ rooms, but the options are endless. 2) SWAP OUT THE RUG: There are so many beautiful rug options out there in 8x10 and 9x12 sizes that are less than $500. A new rug can completely change the vibe to a space. Bonus points if it gives vintage vibes 🙌🏻 3) NEW KITCHEN OR BATHROOM FAUCETS: Do yourself a favor and invest in good plumbing in these spaces. They are workhorses of the house. Whether you want brass, polished nickel, or black, you can make a space feel vintage, timeless, or modern. 4) CUSTOM CURTAINS: I’m not kidding when I tell you how much warmth and depth curtains can bring to a space. They truly complete a space. You can play with fun patterns and textures to give a room a little more personality. But if you’re buying custom it can cost $500 for just a couple of panels. Let me tell you, though, the quality is noticeable! 5) PAINT KITCHEN CABINETS: Bring new life to your kitchen just by updating the color of the cabinets! Rent or buy a paint sprayer for a professional finish or use a smooth paint roller and a paint specifically designed for cabinets (I personally love @sherwinwilliams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel paint). 6) UPDATE HARDWARE: Some hardware can cost a pretty penny, but what a difference it can make!
