Therefore, after Makoto acheived her title and Gnosis, she used some kind of ″Divine Power″ to bring Ei back and become her body double. Which I find odd, as bringing someone to life is a major sin, and a rule established by Celestia. Attempting to control life and death challenges the authority of the HP (Heavenly Principles). In Sumeru Academia’s cardinal sins of wisdom, tampering with life and death is listed as the second sin. According to Teyvat's rules, dead individuals cannot be brought back to life. Reversing death is often seen as a distortion of the natural order, and attempting to do so results in ccatastrophe Egeria's creation of a ″New life″ using the Primordial Sea to turn her Oceanids into mortals resulted to a prophecy that would eventually dissolve all of the life Egeria had made, bringing them back to the Primordial Sea—these two connects, Egeria was punished with a prophecy for creating a new life while Makoto was able to revive Ei freely. When Andrius also sacrificed for Venti, he still died; he is a spirit of a deceased god, not a living, physical being. He DIED, nobody reforged him back. While Makoto was able to reforge Ei. Hence why, I do not understand how Makoto was able to do it. My questions are: ″Where did Makoto acheive this divine power to reforge Ei?″ Possible answer is that, this power came from Ronova. There's a possibility Ronova is their creator, as Makoto and Ei's origins remains unknown. ″How was Makoto able to do it freely with no punishment?″ Again, the possible answer that Ronova might have something to do with it. There's a book called Hex and Hound, and in the volume 10, there's a ″witch″ who gave birth to two daughters, but witches are incapable of keeping two offsprings, therefore sacrificing her own life to keep the two alive. But it didn't last forever as one of them died. The twin who inherited her mother's abilities of using dark magic then used herself as a vessel and summoned the dead twin's soul.Then, she read all of the leather-bound books in the tower, and combining what she learned with dark magic and alchemy, created a new vessel. However, the ability to place her sister's soul inside the vessel and bring her back to life was not only a forbidden art in light magic, it was also exceptionally difficult — especially for Nottfriga, who knew no light magic whatsoever. Nevertheless, Nottfriga's insistence on bringing Magdalene back spurred her on, and eventually she found a solution. She transformed the vessel into a serpent bracelet that she wore on her wrist, and set out on an adventure (oml im so sorry i got too lazy 😭😭) This part of the Hex and Hound possibly connects to Makoto and Ei.
