@kaiamillerx: as a society, americans have been conditioned to be incredibly isolated and individualistic. this way of life is unsustainable; we are social creatures meant to live in community. such a self absorbed way of living has been a capitalistic tool helping those in power stay in power and ensuring that the rich get richer; i believe in breaking out of the shackles placed on us for the good of those in need. we have to be willing to care. we have to be willing to care so deeply that it becomes all consuming- without this, we become void of anything truly worth living for. please consider looking through the resources on my page and keeping yourself informed; it is more important now than ever. if you are able, please share your resources with those in need. the only thing separating you from the person across from you is a body. mutuals and anyone with a platform: i encourage you to continue (or start!) speaking about these things. it isn’t political, it’s human life. you have the ability to change lives, the display of empathy alone goes further than you realize. i’ve decided to only place the resources on my page (as opposed to the caption of this video) because links in captions are unusable. thank you for reading:)

ngl, isolation has nothing to do with this and its not a "capitalistic tool". we are not all meant to live in communities that plagues us with whatever evils they carry with them and there always is some evil in communities. that take on isolation was extremely delusional and we were never social creatures. only a few are emotionally dependant on others. other than that great video.
