Remember to clean and check the function of your diff breather in future. If it blocks your diff can heat up and pressurize your axel seals.

Looks like you didn’t put enough gasket maker but if it don’t leak you did good

I had the dealer do my diff, I’m assuming they just did a drain and fill 😩

If you spray brake cleaner on the sealant it should soften and make it way easier to pop the cover off
