This case happened in my hometown, I was the same age as Jessica. The cops were horrible and put out so many rumors, it’s a small town so everyone talks to everyone and everything spreads. They never once apologized for putting out their fake narratives and a part of me still believes the wish they didn’t find the real killer. My heart goes out to this man, his reputation was destroyed in the wake of his daughter missing.

The man had CSAM on his computer, so of course he was a suspect at first. Later, when his 19 year old son was charged with SA of a 14 year old girl, he used his influence to get the charges dropped. I feel for him losing his daughter, but he’s not a good person.
