Homeschooling today is not what we thought it was years ago ! I never had intentions of homeschooling until my oldest was school age and I didn’t think he would succeed in a classroom !

100% there are so many programs - ranging from like $100/year to thousands for homeschool! There’s also probably co-op homeschooling options! Find a home school provider near you and they will connect you with outlets that are age appropriate!

Nope. My husband was like NAHHH. So we compromised and moved to a very quiet safe town with amazing schools

Also… I’ve said this since before I was even pregnant and my husband was NOT on board… like at ALL. He played sports and everything and that was super important to him and even though our daughter is only 5(almost 6) months old, he’s already more on board with it! Give it time and I would say, from a former pre-k teacher, start teaching her the alphabet and writing and stuff well before Kindergarten (like preschool age 2-3) so he can see you can teach her… and you get an idea of what it might be like to have a curriculum with her during the day. Just a thought 🫶🏼

We have always been on the same page. I lacked confidence in my ability too and it took me a couple years to get on board. My oldest was in 3rd grade when we started. I should have started her sooner. I’ve now graduated her and her sister and have 5 more still homeschooling.
