When my dog sees another dog on a walk he barks and then turns on the lead pulling and biting the lead I have tried to just stand still until he calms down but very difficult when the other dog is walking towards us what do you suggest as I don’t want to not walk him

so I have two dogs one is reactive and the other is just hyper … they tend to redirect their aggression towards one another on walks then I have to break up a dog fight AND get them away from the distraction - HELP 😭

Ahh! Thank you. Great timing for my 8 month old. He is suddenly wanting to chase cars when we are walking. (He is harnessed and leashed.) I’ll start practicing this with him.

what about when you have a dog of 50kg/110lbs and he's lunging and barking? We have done great progress with his reactivity to people but other dogs are a difficult one. He's not really reacting to any yank of the lead or even treats when he's focused on another dog.
