Oh god, the amount of misinformation here… First of all, Aunt Han and Qianye are NOT the same person. They’re different people, but they’re interconnected because of their past. And they’re definitely NOT siblings. I’m going to go full SPOILER here, so if you don’t want to be spoiled, STOP READING. If you’ve played the Shimmer quest in Kaifeng, it reveals the truth behind Aunt Han’s past. Basically, Aunt Han has a twin brother, and both of them were kept in Qianye’s household because Qianye was sick and needed their organs. You could say Aunt Han and her twin brother were basically livestock, locked in that cursed family as slaves and organ donors. Even during the quest, you can see that the young Qianye calls them her “precious treasures.” You can also recognize her in the instance from her wicked giggling during the quest, so you know that’s definitely Qianye. As time goes on, Aunt Han and her twin brother prove to be very talented. That cursed family keeps forcing them to compete with each other to determine who has better “quality.” But Aunt Han and her brother are clever, so they always end up tying, because they don’t want either of them to become a victim of whatever that horrible family plans to do. Eventually, the time comes when they try to run away, but the plan fails and they get cornered with nowhere left to go. To save his sister, Aunt Han’s twin brother pushes her over the ledge and sacrifices himself instead. Aunt Han survives, and that’s the moment she begins planning her revenge against everyone involved in her brother’s death.
