so basically this change is bad for the internet itself. cuz the internet started popularity based. and whatever was popular it made sure it was still popular snd become more popular. just like in real life the more popular a band or a concept is. the more people would talk about it and the more popularity the band or concept will gain. now they prioritize personal customization and individualism. meaning that if YouTube never popularity based. then Mr beast wouldnt be as popular as he is now and every single YouTuber have now been downgraded to be "the average youtuber" since now instead of gaining more popularity the more they grow in popularity. they get popularity within the content they are creating and the concept they are talking about... wow the internet became something unrecognizable and bad in terms socializem.
