I was a caseworker in men’s shelters & the community since I was 22 (I’m 26 now & work in health care). One of my goals is to open up a women’s shelter in the future and make sure it’s nothing like what I’ve seen. I always went out my way for my clients because I know the system is rough and life isn’t easy. Many of them have successful stories now. Wishing you luck on your journey , you got this 🙏🏽

I went to Franklin last year. I just signed my lease. Thank God. If you keep doing what you have to do and stay ON TOP OF THEM. You will get what you want. Just be consistent beautiful, you got this🙏

I was in bed 3023! they moved me 2 weeks ago to a hotel. I will never forgive them for turning them lights on at 5:30am 🤣

I remember when I was there. Crazy it was over a decade ago and it still looks the same. They moved me to alphabet city after that. Which made it so hard to make it anywhere. I’m so glad I’m over that. That experience in life makes you enjoy the little things when you do get them.

they only keep you there a week. That's a intake shelter. it's not like how it was back in the day. You had to be there for like 3 months until they found a shelter that suited your needs along with finding you housing. Chin up Sis it's going to get better stay Focused Humble and keep God first.

I've heard some crazy stuff about Franklin, me personally I went to the other intake in bk but be very proud and prideful that you made it through Franklin cuz it's no joke! 🫂
