I always boil my pepper mix first before blending and it contains: equal ratio of tatashe and shombo (deseeded), tomatoes, bell peppers, spring onions, ginger and garlic, fresh pepper, thyme or rosemary leaves, seasoning cubes and a little oil. Then when frying my stew base, I season it first with thyme, coriander powder, curry powder then add bay leaf, onions, more ginger and garlic. I also don’t use tomato paste in my stew at all. Dazzol 🥰
