Is it love bombing? Or is it that you want to show appreciation and admiration for a person that you are in tune with? From a healed perspective? Idk because I have actually thought about this myself. It’s not that I want to love bomb a guy, but if I am attracted and respect this man, how can I not show it?

Listen to Olivia Dean’s- easy to fall in love. I have grown on a similar timeline to you and this is how I feel now. I just accept it. Because I know I love deeply and now I believe I have an unlimited amount of it to give. I’ve been through unhealthy relationships and still gave. Now I give to myself, then others and it is easier to receive. If someone else doesn’t see that, I will let myself feel sad and then let it go. I am still me before, during and after now.

Same friend, same. This has gotten me in trouble in the past but I’m unclear what it will look like to not express love for someone in a “love bombing” way. What’s the healthy way look like? I hope when it happens I will just be able to feel true peace knowing I’ve used all the skills I’ve worked so hard to learn. Best of luck!! I’ll be following ❤️

Thank you for sharing this! I agree, it’s a strange, unfamiliar and vulnerable place to be. I often wonder if I will know “how” to date, as the more healed version of myself. I truly believe that just being open about your fears and having those internal curiosities are part of what the healing journey is all about-especially in the context of a relationship. You’re on the right path!

Since Love bombing is ill-intentioned (consciously or otherwise), is it simply pursuing someone? Courting them? Showing attention and intention in a consistent, but not overwhelming, way so the girl knows you’re seriously interested?
