@takenapss: Blaming the Wealthy for Societal Problems Many societal issues are nuanced, but leadership capitalizes on this gripe with slogans like "eat the rich" or "pay their fair share" to advance policies that will hurt the nation far more than it will help. This type of content rips online as most people are not wealthy and this seems like a sensible group to blame. I break down this video of @Gino The Ghost criticizing Elon Musk and a tweet that explains why the lower tier of income earners cause far more of a hindrance to overall progress than the top 1% does. This is always a very unpopular opinion that opens me (or anyone) up to great criticism. However, I feel that this clarity is necessary not just in this instance but to help people understand where this line of thinking leads to. I like @ginotheghost and suggest you give him a follow, but I hope this clarification explains what Elon, @NickShirley and Avery Daye are saying.
It’s so true! How many “homeless” immigrants do you see on the street?

Caesar Chavez, famous for trying to essentially unionize the farm workers in California, was notorious for having his ‘supporters’ uh ‘encourage’ illegal migrant labor to uh look elsewhere as they would hurt labor negotiations.
