@laurensimpsonofficial: Anyone else dealing with high chair refusal lol 😅 19 month old just wants to be a little independent miss sitting on a normal chair now
Girl don’t worry it gets worse 👀🤷🏼♀️. I had to lock my 3yo out in the back yard this morning because he wouldn’t stop hitting me…. All because I wouldn’t give him candy at 7:30am…..

You could try a baby booster instead. Ingenuity Baby Base 2-In-1 Seat is good, especially to keep in the car and take into restaurants and strap onto a chair 😂

Make the chair look SUPER COOL with decorations… use some arts and craft tools with her to customize her chair into a thrown or something

Yep ! Just wanted to be wherever we sat. So the ingenuity seat and also her camp chair became our best friend at the table 😂

My daughter does this at home but at daycare they have their own toddler sized tables and chairs - so they seat themselves without issue.

I gave up by 18mths (was hit and miss from 15months) I did find putting the food on the table could help, or just leaving her a bit longer sometimes.... I put a sheet or towel on our Mat/tiles, easier clean up.. Pick my battles (plenty to choose from atm) and this isn't one I'm picking as a mostly SAHM with a shift-work partner in a small house (fierce not yet 2 year old 😂).
Car seat does get better, I'd try keep some small toys out of sight and pull one out before we went to help have her busy (softies, hot wheels etc), or use Music to distract ask if she wanted to listen to xyz song... Also minimising the amount of In/Out .. Often just did 1 errand of a morning and 1 of an Arvie.... Probly lasted 8months or so I rekon... She likes to do the buckle up and pull the tightening strap now 🙄😂
When the nappy battles started I just left them off and started doing more regular toileting trips (was plenty of floor wee's for a few weeks, good stash of terry towels is handy).... Toilet Trained by 20months (commit and go hard if she is showing signs 😂)... Probly the best thing I've done, the nappy crocodile battles were sending me...... I also dont fight her with putting clothes on straight away in the morning after about 10-20mins of them being out she'll try to dress herself and accept help.
😂😂 I've been pushed to the absolute Max limit today 😵💫
