America is actually afraid of what they perceive as a demographic cliff. In a nation built on the displacement and extermination of native Americans and the exploitation, subjugation, and oppression of Black Americans, white Americans will no longer be the majority. Even as they continue to lie to themselves about the plight of minorities in America, they are terrified of becoming one.
