This is amazing. I wish I could do something like this for people and instead I am in need. Some years ago, my brother suddenly died of a heart attack. My impoverished and estranged mother and he had sadly been dependent on each other, as he had been hit by a drunk driver when he was 10 and suffered from a traumatic brain injury. My mother couldn’t walk and was becoming increasingly ill. I had been out of state getting a masters degree and putting myself into an insurmountable amount of debt as a first generation student born to a prisoner and pill addict. I never wanted that life and have always been health conscious and really strived for more. When my mother was alone and ill, I gave up everything to try and help her and be supportive, including the first bed I had since I was a kid that I fought so hard for. She was diagnosed with cancer and kidney disease. All her money was stolen and I watched her get evicted. She dragged her dead son’s ashes from place to place and no apartment would take her due to something she didn’t even do. Meanwhile, I struggled to interview and experienced a kind of selective mutism that made me look dumb when I’m not (two masters degrees at 4.0s despite excruciating and impossible circumstances and super artistically creative) and otherly kept getting rejection letters. Life hit after life hit, someone hitting my car, finding out my dear friend drowned in a river in his overturned car, having to uphold my mother as a drowning person myself, and my once decent credit took a dive. Ended up in an abusive relationship. Had been sticking in Michigan as my slowly dying mother’s sole support. No other family or support at all. Have been living in my car with two small dogs who are my heart, one with declining health, and my dead brother’s ashes. Had to leave Michigan until it warms up and am in Louisiana. There’s so many things that I need but I would do just about anything for a week or two at the red roof inn (because they’re dog friendly) in Slidell so I can shower and eat some normal food and see my dogs play some and so I can lay in a bed and let my feet and ankles stop swelling from being in a car constantly. I would love the time

I am a car lifer. my car is having some electrical issues. and I can't run it more than 5-10 min at a time. meaning I can't really use my heat. is this something y'all could help me with. if so do I just go to the website and apply or what. 💜💜💜
