i’m on my last semester of pre reqs at community college for nursing! spring 2027 (if accepted if all goes well) i will start the nursing program there and graduate with an associates degree in nursing then i will go get my bsn! goal is to work in peds oncology :) you’ve been the biggest inspiration and honestly a role model, thank you!💕

I was an OR nurse for 28 years and loved it! Started there straight out of nursing school, did 6 months of orientation. Circulated and scrubbed in every area and was charge nurse for 15 years! It was the best job! After 28 years my body needed a break from all the physical work and now I work from home in the coding dept for our university hospital system.

It never ceases to amaze me how it blows peoples minds when they learn just how much you have to learn to work in the OR. ESP if you work somewhere with multiple specialties and multiple doctors. So many supplies, equipment, instruments, Dr. preferences ect. I love the OR!

I love the OR so much. My orientation was 8 months and I learned how to circulate and scrub. My home pod is neuro/ent but learned all pods during the orientation process just in case I have to fill in.
