just eyeball all of that. the floor and ceiling aren't going to be level. make adjustments on the mud ring keeping in mind the rockers are going to fck everything up anyways and not bother to mud around the mud ring.

I found it easiest to lazor the brackets center your screws then lazor the mudrings before sheetrock

I’ve always turned it so you could put 3 screws in it , but those sliding box mounting bars 🙄 were never my favorite

level your bracket then just center your screw holes eith the bracket holes. its going to move a little as you put conduit or whatever in the box anyway. it good to be precise though, at least you give a damn.
