This is deeeep emotional intelligence. And those girls are soooo blessed to have a mother willing to do this internal work for them. Thank you for sharing this with us 😭

This is the second time you’ve come on my FYP. You seem like a calm and loving parent. I’m sorry for your loss. Your mom is watching from heaven, so proud of you!

Mother’s Day was a dreaded day for years (especially with social media) but after I had my baby girl I had the most joyous day. Daughters are truly a blessing. Thank you for sharing 🩷

I lost my mom at about the same age suddenly. You changed my perspective on motherhood. When I was pregnant I was so scared about being a mom without my mom. But you are right, my babies will have me and not have to go through what I did. What a blessing!

Wow, I am crying with you. My mom lost her mom in her mid twenties and now I’m in my mid twenties, so I am living your daughter’s perspective. A mothers love is eternal, and your mothers love lives on every day in your love to your children ❤️

I’m over here just nodding along. 😭 I lost my mom at 15. I had my daughter 2 years ago and before getting pregnant I thought I don’t care if it’s a boy or girl. But then during the pregnancy I felt so deeply it was a girl. And I felt soooo much healing through that pregnancy. So much connection to my mom. All of my happy memories I had with my mom. I couldn’t wait to love my girl the same way she loved me and relive some of those moments again, as her mom 🥲 But I do have some nervousness going into those teen years. I hope it turns into more light than grief when we get there. Thank you ❤

I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant with my second girl and I’m almost 36 as well. I resonate so much with all of your videos. I remember being so nervous to have a girl back in 2023 too. My mom is here and well but she is not emotionally here or aware at all. I have always felt like she was my friend/im her mom. And I get so emotional thinking the way you do too, I am so excited to be there for my daughters the way I didn’t have it ♥️

@Morgan Pigéon: Wow, I relate with this so much. I’m a new mom to a 15 month old baby girl. I lost my mom 16 years ago and everyday, I feel like what a blessing I get to have a mother daughter relationship again in my life. Thank you for being vulnerable and articulating this beautifully🩷

this is such a beautiful perspective that has really spoken to me 🥹 It is the most important job in the world to be a mom and not having mine with me makes having kids sooo complicated and bittersweet. 🩷

My grandma is well and alive and she’s awful to my mom. But my mom truly became all she ever got and I’m forever grateful

This is beautiful. If it’s not too painful to answer, would you mind explaining if what you do remember of your mom before she passed has helped you in this motherhood journey of yours?

This moved me so much. I cannot wait to experience motherhood and pour into my children. Seems like such a blessing. I especially cannot wait to hopefully have girls and be the mom for them that my mom wasn’t for me (she is alive and a great mom but an African immigrant so hard upbringing but I know she was only doing the best she could). Anyway I’m crying now cause this was beautiful perspective
