I know there’s a lot to be wary of but honestly this kind of tech could open up a lot of doors for cinematic video games if you could eventually base it off of real film and have it remain consistent. Consistency of output, energy cost to benefit ratio, and fine-tuned control by developers are all needed for this to replace anything about regular game design rather than being, as it stands, a fun novelty and potentially a tool for creating playable pitches or concept art.
