Dude, I live in the Cape Fear River Basin. Chemours (dupont 😒) has been dumping PFOAs into the Cape Fear River since 1984/86. This river goes directly into the ocean, shad breed in this river, and it isn't unheard of them traveling past that dumping spot. PFOAs are in everyone, and you have to go all the way back to the Korean war to find blood samples that don't contain it.
