pcos is more than infertility. It increases chances of ovarian cancer, heart diseases due to irregular periods, decrease in bone density, diabetes and every life threatening diseases. All this scares me more than anything and nobody tells that. I believe being a healthy person for me is more than being a MOTHER to a hypothetical kid and nobody tells you that,especially to younger girls

its nowhere near 80%, every single person i know with pcos including myself has kids. you just have to avoid taking birth control.

If it makes you feel better, I got diagnosed with PCOS at 16. I am 23 and 3 months pregnant with my first! It was completely natural, I didn’t have to take any meds or anything and got pregnant within a couple months of trying!

You can still have kids!! A lot of women with pcos conceive naturally, others need a bit of medical assistance (like ivf). I’ve done a lot of research on this topic because I might have pcos myself

I was sitting in a restaurant chock FULL of little kids, probably 8 all in front of me at different tables. I nearly started sobbing. I lost a baby a year ago, and was diagnosed with unknown infertility last week after a cervical biopsy. I just want to be a mom. I want to make my husband a dad.

PCOS can make ovulation irregular, but it does not mean 80% of women are infertile. Many go on to conceive - sometimes with support 🤎

It’s easier for me to say I don’t want kids bc it’s hard to explain why I probably won’t be able to have them. I much rather have it seem like it’s my choice than something already decided for me
