I worked with Catherine on HOME FRIES. As a production designer I was always working ahead of the shooting crew, so we never interacted due to schedules, etc. Later that year after wrap at the Art directors guild awards,her husband Bo was up for an award, and after the ceremony there was dancing and dining. I was on the floor with members of my crew when the crowds parted and up marched Cathrine……she got to me gestured with a finger to my chest and said my name is Cathrine what’s yours? continuing ……. I think it’s terrible after working for so long that we never got to know one another. Our loss. Needless to say everyone was speechless. We hugged and formally introduced ourselves.❤️A wonderful moment.

the day before she passed I started watching Schitts creek again, because why not! one of the best shows to rewatch. The next day my husband stated that she passed. I thought he was joking. She was an amazing actress. Thank you for all the laughs Mrs. O'Hara. You will be missed. ❤️
