I had my dream job as a fighter pilot for 22 years. Did everything I’d dreamed of - topgun, combat x 3, squadron command. Landed on aircraft carriers 500+ times. Literal professional nirvana. None of it would be worth it without my wife and daughter. Anyone who says otherwise is just delusional.
