@nepalin24hr: A theft has been reported at the Mandikhatar residence of RSP leader and former Kathmandu mayor Balen Shah. The incident took place while Shah and his wife were out of the house. According to police, thieves broke in by crossing the compound wall. They reportedly stole multiple CCTV cameras, the DVR recording system, and metal water taps from the kitchen and bathrooms. Other missing items are still being assessed. Police teams from Kathmandu and the Valley Crime Investigation Office have begun an investigation. Officials say the method used suggests the involvement of a professional theft group. The break-in is believed to have happened sometime in recent days before it was discovered.
