Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At 12:21 a.m. on February 22, 2023, River Edge officers Brandon Goez, Anthony Roman, and Domenic Pizzanelli rushed to a crash report. A 2007 BMW 530 had wrecked on Kinderkamack Road near Main Street. They saw bad damage to the car. A tree lay down. A utility pole had fallen too. Airbags had popped inside. Officer Roman went to the driver. Officer Goez checked the passenger. The driver was 20-year-old Evelyn. She seemed awake but drunk. Her passenger lay unconscious at first. The officers called medics and firefighters right away. Evelyn said she was drunk when they asked about the crash. She felt cold. So they took her to a patrol car to sit. Medics checked her there. They put her passenger on a stretcher. An ambulance took him to Hackensack University Medical Center. Police arrested Evelyn. They loaded her into the ambulance too. She went to the same hospital for checks. Hackensack Auto Body and Towing hauled her car away under John's Law. PSE&G fixed the fallen pole. River Edge Public Works cleared the tree and cleaned up. A search found an open booze bottle in the BMW. At the hospital, Evelyn agreed to a blood test. Results showed 0.200% BAC. That's over twice the 0.08% limit. She got tickets for drunk driving, underage drunk driving, reckless driving, careless driving, and open container. Court files say July 11, 2023, she pled guilty to drunk driving and careless driving. She got a breath-lock device for 7 months. She spent 12 hours in drunk driver class. She paid $830 in fines.
