my take is that the women is some kind of fae. shes always asking Alice for permission when shes pretending to help and things really go wrong when Alice drinks water from her.

Loved this movie, but on the fence if it was a trauma-induced delusion or something wicked in the woods. I kept thinking, if it’s a delusion, when did it start? From the first phone call? After the first call drops or halfway through? It can’t be a delusion the whole time, because how did they find where she was then? 🤷🏻♂️👻

I wonder if the writers got inspiration for this movie from reading about the (2008) Disappearance of Brandon Swanson.

so many questions, who did the police think hit her then? did her car look like she hit someone? is there blood on the car, would it match her body tho? how would her parents get her location then, locator on her phone or car? if the parents are the ones that called the cops, how did they get there so fast?

But how would they know where to go and what had happened if it was just an induced delusion?? Doesn’t make sense
