This ain’t true. Goldfish need VERY large spaces because they can grow over a foot long,hamsters need a minimum of 70 gallons, bearded dragons need lots of space as well

I’ve owned a few pets, birds and fish are definitely not easy pets for beginners, If you want my most honest take- a cat is probably the best option, they don’t require training, they poop in a box and just require some cuddles (if they like it) and this is coming from a cat owner

No pet is actually good for beginners unless you do your research first. all animals have their own needs and most people recommend fish when in reality they also have alot of care needed.

goldfish get HUGE, they definitely take up a lot of space. I worked at a pet store and even our feeder comets got really big. they are best in a pond or a very large tank
