@timeforprague: Czech cents were called haléře, but they stopped being used years ago. The 10 and 20 haléř coins were removed in 2003, and the 50 haléř coin in 2008. So why do prices still show cents? They still exist digitally. Banks and accounting systems can use exact amounts, so if you pay by card, you pay the full price with decimals. If you pay in cash, the total is rounded to the nearest whole crown. It’s also a marketing trick: prices like 9.90 look cheaper than 10, even if the difference is very small. Just a small thing to know before you visit Prague 😊.
