Car drivers think that this is unreasonable, but if someone cut your seat belt most of the way through, would you replace it. If you had to leave your airbag outside of your car with people being able to damage it, even by accident, would you trust it.

Nah I totally get you, extremely valid points as to why you don’t want to leave it. People telling you youre being extra🫤?? That little comment at the end from the customer annoyed me. Just cos he had to probably leave his crusty couch for a couple mins. Definitely wasn’t his call to make as if anything happened to the helmet YOU and ONLY you would be the one taking the L 👏🏼

My sister rides a bike and she would never leave her helmet unattended like this for the reasons you’ve stated. It’s literally life or death when it comes to helmet safety.

I mean, say it gets damaged or stolen at the reception , are the hotel gonna cover the costs? Of course not, they’d just be like “oh well, that’s your problem we’re not responsible for your stuff” - so I kinda get if it’s a spenny helmet with expensive cameras on it.

Totally agree with the Delivery driver, it’s his property & has expensive equipment on it, & the safety element too. At the end of the day anything happens to the helmet it’s the delivery driver who’s out of pocket.
