Prosecutors have cited Lindsay Clancy's use of marijuana as an example of her not following medical orders, so her defense attorney Kevin Reddington has emphasized that she only ate one marijuana gummy, and she did so to try to help her sleep. Meanwhile, Clancy took other medication prescribed to her at South Shore Prenatal Clinic, including Trazodone, Prozac, Seroquel and Remeron with Klonopin. "Cannabis, the weed, the devil's lettuce. How about that? Did she confess that she was using marijuana?" Reddington asked today (Wednesday, August 12, day 12). "Yes, she said she did use marijuana," Dukes answered. "When?" Reddington asked. "Last use was November 15, 2022," Dukes answered. Dukes, who saw Clancy while working as a perinatal clinician at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, referenced her notes and said Clancy "tried a marijuana gummy to help with sleep."
