The fact that Maul saw Ashoka’s potential right away is interesting. It looked as if he genuinely believed that him and her could take down Sidious together, he knew how powerful Anakin was and knew that Ashoka was trained by him and knew that she is one of the strongest Jedi even when hardly anyone else saw it
