Shoot, I remember tile was applied directly to green gypsum board, no other water proofing and lasted for 30 years. Sorry I think there’s a lot of overkill in today’s tile work.

Tapin over the bathtub means if you ever want to change the tub you’ll have to change all the walls as well

$120 for a 5” x 65’ roll. Pricey but I would imagine cost effective in time saved. Can it be crrased to use in corners and where the wall meets the floor? Gonna have to look for some more product videos now
