I’m saving this so two months from now when I find one of these plugged in at my mom’s house I can show her this. If I tell her it’s a scam she won’t believe me. If a stranger tells her, she will believe it.

capacitive dropper for the LED and a fake 'capacitor', would technically increases power consumption(admittedly not much). At least they included a protective fuse so is shouldn't burn down your house when it fails short🤷♂️
