I do appreciate the cops thwarting crime, but when you see the guy impaired at the restaurant where they just spent 250 bucks, why not help them get in an Uber or get a ride or have the restaurant keep their car keys in their car and get them home so that everyone’s safe and then the cops can move on to something more important

they handled it well except for going after the guy, technically if he only moved the car within the parking lot it’s private property and thus no license required

Always park in parking lots of private businesses. You not having a license as long as you have permission to be there. Now duis in my state it does matter even if private but i think there is some grey area shit there
