My husband is BRCA1 positive. I’m scared for both of my kids, but especially my daughter inheriting it. Do you have any fear/anxiety about your girls having it? Doctors suggest not testing until they are at least teenagers.

I found out last May I also have the BRCA2 gene. I’m 24 and my husband and I were not planning to have children until 30ish and that timeline has been moved up now. It’s been extremely overwhelming trying to figure out what the best decision is so thank you for sharing. Im currently considering double mastectomy w/ reconstruction prior to children. However the thought of a full hysterectomy and being surgically launched into menopause is terrifying. Any other advice you can give with your experience/plan would be so appreciated.

I have 4 kids, my first two are 15 months apart, and 3 and 4 are 15 months apart. It was not planned that way and find it crazy but love that it’s that way. 2 and 3 are 3 yrs apart.
