Also those are millennials we have to understand that the series happened between 2008 - 2015. I was in uni at that time as well and trust me, we didn’t have the emotional awareness, tools or language to pinpoint narcissistic behavior. We were rawdogging life, it was horrible I actually remember having people (sort of like) Steven at that time.

Great analysis! I was wondering why Wrigley and Stephen weren’t groomsmen. I also wonder if Stephen’s speech at the rehearsal dinner was planned or impromptu? Why would Evan ask Stephen to speak if he’s not a groomsman?

There’s also another thing which I think is too similar to be coincidence, at the bar (2015) - when Stephen speaks to Bree she says something very specific ‘one little mistake ruin things’ that phrase ‘one little mistake’ is EXACTLY how Evan described it when he was first telling the guys in the cafeteria. Someone must have talked to Bree. She must have already known. Not telling Lucy she knew might have made her feel even worse compounded with her marrying Evan knowing it was Lucy, on her still loving Wrigley
