Totally agree with chemical sunscreen vs mineral under foundation. I love Japanese sunscreen and it’s perfect under makeup. Spent a ton of $$$ trying all the other influencer layering and it always pilled. Less is more!

I feel like I was taking too long to put on my makeup after my skin prep and I do not use sunscreen. I have dry skin, but it seems like it doesn’t matter what I do. The makeup gets cakey and patchy and I’ve tried high-end make up and drugstore makeup and it just doesn’t matter. I make sure that there’s no oil base in any of my products and I swear it’s just the same result.

I wash my face, put TIR Tir milk toner, moisturizer, a bit of sunscreen and mattifying primer on the nose if I know I need shine control. The base is flawless! But you need to wait a few minutes for the products to dty before going in with your foundation
