Hang in there my neighbor had a liver transplant last year and 8 months later a kidney transplant. It was a rough first month when she got home from the liver transplant, but it's been a year and she's doing great. Her Cirrhosis was so bad she was completely neon yellow from her scalp to her legs, totally liver failure. She was in the hospital actually getting her last rites when a young teenager came in with a fatal gun shot wound. she literally got his liver that next morning. She's doing fantastic today! You're going to do great❤

I can't believe you got it! I'm so happy. I quit drinking because of you! And I don't buy or let my son drink anymore. He's 35 and lives with me and was drinking daily and he stopped now also. God is great! God bless ❤️

Been following you with my journey! Got my liver the 20th! Still in icu. Everyone is different so go at your pace but walking is important. Your binder!!!! Wear it! It may be uncomfortable but so good when you are getting up and down! Congrats!!!! We have new journeys now! I ran into fluid issues and had to be re-intubated the day after transplant but my body didn’t want to play nice! Work hard but rest too so you’ll heal! This is the biggest transplant surgery because the liver has a hand on everything internally!
