It's worth mentioning that CS is decentralized. Valve doesn't run CS the same way Riot runs basically the whole LoL and Valorant e-sports. They are under a publicly traded company, so they have an image to uphold in front of the investors. Valve is private and they really don't care.

League used to.jave that too.i.feel.like, but riot has been censoring chat, broadcast and everything so much, that now saying ANYTHING just feels like so much more, just by comparison. I mean, you used to not hold back at all, i loved that. Still very happy to have you around in league. Youre the goat of league broadcast.

Not attacking you or anything but I have a question; I’ve been following you for like 10 years and for the past 5 or so years when we get a tiktok of you comparing the two you always seem to praise CS and all around it whilst kinda “downbringing” the League community. Whilst I do agree that CS has a lot of things that they could “take” from CS, I also think that CS has way, way more stuff that they could “steal” from League in order to improve itself. But I get it that this is most likely coming from the standpoint of your job so it’s also a fair criticism. I think you follow football, right? I would compare League to the EPL, these massive fanbases of KC, LR, KOI, G2 will always get some of ya’ll spammed. Same way that Arsenal, Liverpool fans spam Neville, Scholes and so on for their takes about their teams. In comparison, I think CS doesn’t have “hardcore” fans where it’s more niche.

CS audiences tend to be more serious, tactical, and competitive, while LoL crowds leaned more toward raw skill expression and experimentation

League has only become more sensitive since they tightened the chat restrictions to match Valorant, and CS has never had any chat restrictions

I mean, its pretty obvious that LOL and Valorant have softer communities. Banter has been a part of the CS scene since the start while in League and Valo people can get offended easily so it never became a main thing. Banter in CS actually makes storyline and broadcasts even better. I also have this feeling watching you do CS events, you glow because you dont have to watch your every step because of some crazy fans. Anyway,keep doing what you are doing and tbh im a LEC viewer but I would love to see you in more CS events so you can truly be unleashed. You are a great storyteller, hope you can do the same free stuff again in LOL too
