we've NEVER had federal "police" roaming our neighborhood streets permanently like this before in the history of America... it's always been local police (and even that has been shitty with how they treat POC). Even when the national guard is called up, it's only for a few weeks at most. This cannot and will not stand with the American people! Society allowed the militarization of the police in the 90s calling it "the war on drugs". When police were beating and killing black people, every other race turned their backs and said "just comply" those events were the precursor to this. Society told the government violating people's rights was "ok". Now they are doing it to EVERYONE, what did you expect?
