Ignore them honey, you are doing amazing and you're aware and you're prepared and have been preparing for her ever since you knew of her diagnosis and even before then you were working hard for her because that's what a mom does. moms worry and we have real fears. A cure isn't bad but it also means going through a very new process with no actual timeliness for an "end". What if the cure is something that's exhaustive to the body or its just an experiment or what if it doesn't actually work and you have time to it that you needed for other things. It's not the fact you don't want to try it, it's the unknown. it's the uncertainty. It's a very real fear and you are valid and it's understandable to avoid and ignore the hate and dumb questions of those who don't know and don't even care, they just sit and judge. You're amazing mama, and I've got you all in my thoughts and prayers. She is so loved ♡

The cure is confusing because you LOVE your daughter. A cure would mean the Makayla you love may change and that’s terrifying, even if it meant it would make her life easier it is still all terrifying. You don’t have to explain anything to anybody
