My setup cost 16k for the van and 5k for the car + about 30k in maintenance and modifications. Totalling 51k. Would it be nice to have bigger and better things yes but I’ll definitely cry less when I scratch the van or car compared to someone in a 200k setup

Dude we are about to head off in a 2018 Hilux we've spent 15k on getting it ready. Paid 40k for it with 200k on the clock. $35k for a 13ft van. Sounds like you spent way too much for what ya got.

The wet belt on those things have gone from 180k/120k to now 80k same as a timing belt. So make sure to keep to those. Next one buy a Dmax or a hilux. Too many sweats with the rangers.

Exactly. Some of these set ups blow my mind . Our caravan cost us $55,000. And that’s brand new . It’s a pop top hybrid. And love it . Our can only tow 2.5 tons so we got a caravan to suit .

if you tow a trailer new enough to not contain asbestos you are still in the "rich" category. because i promise you i see a different bit of the country on a 10k budget when you aren't scared to punt through a grown over beach track
