i feel like that so many times. that because there’s people in worse positions than me, that i don’t deserve to revel in my sadness. but what i try to tell myself is that what makes me human is feeling that sadness and going through it, and that i deserve to be sad when i wanna be sad and be happy when i wanna be happy. your sadness, happiness, and every other feeling is just as valid as anyone else’s, no matter what situation it is.
