To those who are considering this, make sure you company has it. If your company is small, they may not have FMLA. If you take medical leave, it might not be paid. Some states have partial pay paid by the state. Some don’t. Some companies may supplement to 100 percent pay, some don’t. FMLA is unpaid. The pay comes from other programs. Personal leave may not be protected.
