@rmntamina: Let's say the quiet part out loud. Nurses aren't leaving because they're lazy, unbothered, or entitled. They're leaving because theyve finally realised self-neglect isn't a job requirement. We were taught to normalize chaos. To accept abuse as "part of the job." To confuse self-sacrifice with professionalism. To skip meals. Hold our pee. Miss birthdays. Work more. Stay late. And feel bad for placing boundaries. Because the second a nurse does this.. They're "not a team player." They're "burned out." They're "the problem." If the system truly valued nurses, it wouldn't leave them feeling struggling, stuck and barely surviving. And more nurses are realizing that were allowed to choose ourselves over a career that is rewarding yet crippling. If this is you, then don’t feel guilty. You’re allowed to choose yourself, your peace and your wellbeing. P.S if your goal for 2026, is freedom, flexibility and peace, I want you to know that it is totally possible. Without a huge following or prior qualifications. You just need to be willing to take the first step. DM me the word BURNOUT and I’ll show you how! #nurse #nhsnurse #burnout #healthcare
