As a black woman, I think the most hurtful part is that y’all don’t see y’all selves in us. I don’t see why it had to be explained so deeply or you have to put yourselves in our shoes to feel like the people that y’all come from, that look like you, that live with you, that love you, and support you are telling the truth. I fail to see what you said has anything to do with male accountability. What you’re talking about is AWARENESS. Deante Kyle’s take would have some merit if the type of men the women are attracted to and replicating wasn’t what it was. Even then his take fell apart the moment he said that men are collectively accountable to the men who can’t take rejection and act out. That’s BS. You can’t say out loud that you prefer SCAMMERS AND DRUG DEALERS and then claim men as a collective are accountable for those same type of men who are likely to exhibit the behavior women are complaining about.

His message? ✅ the way he worded it?🚫 he shoulda used awareness and action in place of the word “accountability”. As a man I’m AWARE of the dangers women go thru and take ACTION in making sure I fight against those oppressive forces, but I’m not accountable for the actions of other men.
