@jwsocial5000:I own everything he did both with Creed and solo and I have been in music since the 1970s, and I believe he is the greatest combination singer songwriter of all time. I like a song that I have to listen to a couple of dozen times to get the deeper meaning out of it. I respect someone who writes their own songs a little bit more than someone who pays for a song. the reason why, is usually it causes them to sing it from the heart and soul and it just gives a better, more personal performance level. with Scott stapp you always get 100% and I walk away from his music feeling better about the world, and making a better person out of myself. also, he has gone through hell and it's personal life, and come out for the better. to me, that makes a rougher, grainier, more lived and experienced performer then these trust fund pop stars that are out today.
