The viral Crescent Loaf just got a bakery-worthy upgrade! 🥐🍞✨It looks fancy, but it couldn’t be easier to make!👇 📌 Save this post for later so you can make bakery-quality pastries right at home! Ingredients: ½ cup creamy almond butter ½ cup blanched super fine almond flour ¼ cup maple syrup, plus more for serving 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted ½ teaspoon almond extract 2 cans Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 count) 1 large egg, beaten 3 tablespoons sliced almonds Powdered sugar, for dusting Directions: 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the long sides. 2. In a medium bowl, stir together the almond butter, almond flour, maple syrup, melted butter and almond extract until smooth and spreadable. 3. Unroll both cans of dough; do not separate the triangles. Pinch the diagonal seams together on each sheet to create two large dough rectangles. 4. Spread half of the almond filling evenly over each rectangle, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. 5. Starting with the short side of each rectangle, roll the dough into a log, pinching the seams to seal. Place side-by-side, seam-side down in the prepared loaf pan. 6. Brush the tops of the logs with the beaten egg and sprinkle evenly with the sliced almonds, gently pressing the almonds into the egg wash. 7. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the loaf is deep golden brown. 8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Using the parchment overhang, carefully lift the loaf from the pan and transfer to a wire rack. Let cool completely before slicing. Once cooled, dust generously with powdered sugar, slice, and serve. Serve slices with maple syrup if desired.
